Construction - website draft design *

Screenshot and description of the steps involved in website construction, including layout design, choice of font, font colour and text hierarchy, links to other sites e.g. social media, record label, etc

I used the same font (which is Minion Pro) and format as my intro to my music video to create an overlapping sense of connectivity between the music video and the website.

I also decided to use the artist name on social media which is 'official 9 music' as oppose to there actual name which is just 9 music. This is so viewers are more familiar with there personalities over the internet as that is usually how artist are known to go viral these days as oppose to there actual music.
I chose to follow a darker theme for my website as i am taking a lot of inspiration from another website which is Stormzy's website. This is because he uses dark colours to appeal more to a young adult which is also the target audience i am looking for which is (16-25).
I made sure to have the name of the artist to be larger than the record label name to draw more attention to it.
I decided to implement the same exact social media icons that are seen at the end of my music video, again adding a familiar link between the two mediums.

I then decided to put a blurred image of my main actor in the music video as the background as in the music video he represents the youthful face of the type of target audience that i am attempting to target.

I also decided to carry the visual themes from my music video onto my website. i achieved this by using the exact same colour (yellow) and font (Rosewood) throughout both my music video and website.

I then used another image of my central actor to be the main focus and draw attention to him as when viewers clock on this image they will be taken to the next page where they can learn more about the artist. This could even draw in more female viewers.
