Planning - Location Scouting *

Preliminary planning of shoot locations including description of why locations were selected based on audience research

A small room was used as a setting in the scenes involving the young adult actor. i chose to choose this location to best represent how a young adult might be living in today's society in a large city like Birmingham. This is similar to a university accommodation, it being small, slightly messy and dull in lighting.

I chose to shoot my shots in an area that might represent a 'deprived area'. I chose this specific location as it contain a lot of graffiti which can often relate to poverty in an area.
This is so i am able to have some socio-economic context throughout the scene in which my actor is traversing a long this area.

I also implemented a hidden meaning as one of the graffiti spells 'hope' this is possibly to speak on the reliance of the future as i am aiming to appeal to youth who fit this age range.(16-25)









These locations where shot at dusk as you can see in the music video. This added a bit more vibrant shine to an otherwise dull street making the scene more cinematic.

This location was chosen as it was the perfect for representing hor isolated a character is as he sits on this one bench with nothing and nobody around
